I've seen stuff like that. Experiments that show amnio acids coming together in early Earth conditions. It is pretty interesting, but it would be nice if they could actually form proteins and DNA in these experiments.

Ew, that Atheist page made me uncomfortable. I don't think I'm like that. I don't think theists are stupid and therefore only say stupid things. First of all, stupid people are capable of saying very intelligent things, they just tend to say stupid things. Secondly, I don't being religious makes you stupid, just mistaken. [/tangent]

That's pretty cool. I'd like to see an actual experiment, though. Computer models are really useful for showing how certain things could happen, but you need a real physical experiment to make it plausible that it did happen.
And I don't get the Borg comment. I'm sure I'm just completely missing some sarcasm or something, but I am confused.
