I'm still alive!

As you all (or most of you all) know, I moved out of my parents' house going on a month ago. I was without cable and the internet the entire time, until today! OH GOD. You don't realize how much you miss cable until you don't have it. Living without the internet was NOT easy.

Okay, I was fine and only went a little crazy. Now I just need to clean the fucking apartment and I'll be happy again.

The cake is a lie (sorry, it's my natural reaction to such phrases as "I'm still alive.") Other than that, glad to hear things are going well. Though I must admit, I personally rather prefer life without cable. It just eats up too much of my time. Not in the sense that I watch it all day, but in the sense that I keep scrolling through the channels, convinced that somewhere, something good must be on because I have dozens of channels. Of course, nothing ever is on. But by the time I find this out, it's another half-hour block, so of course, something might have come on, and so I must repeat the whole process all over again.

No, I prefer the good ol' rabbit ears. I get five channels, roughly, Simpsons come on at 6:00, Family Guy comes on at 6:30, the cycle repeats at 10:00, and that's the only programming I have to worry about.
