Well, there is the gameboy one. Or, there was the giant tree boss in BS Zelda that you could rip. Or you could edit the Deku Tree tiles included in one of the Pure sets (Pure Enhanced I think).

NoeL made some, I think... You should be able to find them around. Either way, that whole "Pure" thing gives a pretty big limitation. Would it be that hard to use a level palette? I'm assuming that this tree won't be on every screen...

But if a level palette is completely out of the question, this is all I've got:

But of course, you could always go with the Maku tree from the GB Zeldas, which I do believe is already in Pure with the eyes edited out...

I could also quite easily get you the Ra Tree from Terranigma, if you're willing to use a level palette.

Wow, never thought that old thing would ever actually be useful... But either way, glad I could help.

If I remember right there is also a pretty huge tree in the FFA tileset. That's one of my favorite sets because all the tiles can easily rip into other sets. Plus there's some good boss tiles in there too.

You know, I think I'll use that in m quest too.

No grass detail around it is the only problem that I can see.

Those grass tiles that I put around it were only to make it more complete looking, you can easily put details around it yourself when you make the screen.

The tree is actually from Graal, I ripped it into Pure as a joke a while back (And I mean a LOOOONG while back), but at least I'm glad to see it got some use.

It's a rip? It looks a lot like the other trees in the Pure set, but better.

It blends in with the old DoR set. Hm, I wonder what I could use this for...

Actually I agree, hence why it was a joke.

Yeah... The bottom looks like some weird hybrid alien... from some shitty movie... the top looks like... an out of perspective treetop, with... Nah, I don't need to say that... Not here... There are children reading... right?
:P
But I don't like it either... Heh... But RUSS! THIS is one case where you SHOULDN'T use big trees...

This I find ironic. Normally, you tell me that the small trees are bad, and the big ones are good. Now, you are saying don't use the big one. I am definitely going to use that quote against you sometime in one of our future arguments about small and large trees. :D

And actually, I was thinking of using it for a mutated tree, caused by an inexplicably large amount of chaotic world twisting evil being unleashed whitin a small radius. So that tree fits perfectly. :)

Yeah, it doesn't look chaotically twisted, it just looks crappy....

Exactly...
And Russ.. using that against me, only proves that you have no eye for good trees ;)

Big trees are more realistic, yes, but... That tree just looks awful...

There's also a fairly large tree that I ripped from TotR, that should be around here somewhere. Hunt it down.
