Try getting one in your EYE.

40 injections of ink into his eye to turn it completely blue. WTF is wrong with this guy?? One of my worst nightmares is to be blind. This is just stupid risky.

What draws people to do stuff like this? It's just insane. Expensive, ugly, dangerous.

hmm... Blindness, eh? This is what people do when they want glowy cat eyes but don't want to fool with contacts.

Looks like someone's been reading a little too much Frank Herbert.

Seriously though, that's pretty stupid. People are still free to do it as long as it doesn't harm me, but I can't say anything positive about it.

I can't think of a single reason as to why a human being would ever want to do this.

Then again, I personally think that Tats in general are stupid and ridiculous.

Hey, we don't know yet if the guy will go blind. If it turns out fine, then more power to him.

This reminds me of something I read once.

Isaac Newton once fiddled around with his eyeball using what was probably a toothpick, in order to find out how the eye sees colors. Apparently he didn't have the common sense to use a clean toothpick, and suprise: his eyeball got infected and caused so much pain he ended up in bed for a whopping two weeks.

^^Yeah, but at least what Newton did was useful.

Well we still don't know if he's going to go blind or what it looks like once its healed.

That seriously grosses me the fuck out.

Jeez. My eyes hurt.

Not really. He thought the eye sees colors by changing it's shape. He learned the hard way that that's not the case.

Well he wasn't doing it to look cool that's for sure. At least he learned something about the eye by doing that.

Yeah, not to poke it with a dirty toothpick.

Ehhhh......... Tattoos are disgusting enough, and to think to get one on/in your eyeball...... I'll pass.

I suppose there's a moral in this story.

Even the smartest of people can be a complete fucking idiot at times.

Or his curiosity was greater than his concern for his own well being. Nothing wrong with that.

I would say what is this world coming to???

What's the world coming to? Technology is becoming increasingly capable of letting people alter how their bodies look in ways they couldn't before. Nothing wrong with that.

There's nothing immoral or "wrong" about it per se, but I still think it's retarded. Like I said I don't really care unless it harms me, but I reserve the right to think it's both repulsive and a waste of money. I would argue much the same thing about a tattoo on one's face, neck, etc. Other people are free to do it, but I would never consider such a thing myself.

wow...Tattoing an eye...That's really really risky, IMO. Going blind scares me... I would not do anything that risky.

Personally, no matter how cool certain tattoos might seem, I'm NOT letting someone inject ink into my body. The furthest I'd be willing to go is to have part of my arm tanned in a way to make a design.

You wuss. I personally think its going to be pretty badass. He did do a lot of research and the person doing it is a doctor no doubt. It wasn't just a walk in to a tattoo parlor and decide to get your eye inked.
