How do you get zelda classic 2.10 for windows to run on a Vista computer. I have tried changing the compatibility to different operating systems but that isn't working. When i launch the game, it flashes then windows says that it has stopped running and tells me to close it. Please help. Thanks.

If you want to open 2.10 in Vista, you can try clicking [here (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1110231&postcount=95)] and then downloading the third link (the one with the ZC Launcher). Try opening ZC and ZQuest with the Launcher. I think this works for Vista, but I don't guarantee it.

I do guarantee, however, that version 2.5 works with Windows Vista.

2.10.2 will not work with Vista. ZC won't be able to locate any quests, and ZQuest will crash if you attemp to do something as simple as place the blue continue square. Sorry, but you will have to use the latest alpha build from here. (http://www.shardstorm.com)

I have got 2.10.2 working on my computer under Vista. You have to right-click ZC-Launcher and go to the Compatibility tab, then select "Run this program as an administrator". Also, all your quests have to be in the same folder as ZC, and make sure to use ZC-Launcher to run ZC or ZQ.

Edit: Another thing...ZQ only works well for me in full-screen mode. Otherwise, it starts acting slow and screwy sometimes, especially when you try to place the blue square, green square, item, and whatever else there is on that screen at the bottom.

Hey, how do you get the compatibility tab? When I right click it, it doesn't show up.

Just right click the file and Run As Administrator should be one of the options.

You have to make a shortcut to the program.
