2 questions, the new ICN file and the version info box...

Hey JMan2050, if i have 4 quests called A) B) C) and D), how does it know to update the icon for a slot under the following circumstance?

A) in slot 1
B) in slot 2
C) in slot 3

now if i exchange A) in slot 1 with quest D) then how does it know to replace the existing icon? does it do a crc check or?

also elaborate on it and how it functions if possible.

Is it possible to get the ABOUT box in the ZC Player to show the correct build number? it's annoying working with computer newbs since they will usually say they are using version 2.11 which is moronic >.>

The icon is ALWAYS updated when a quest is loaded. Always. The Sole purpose of the ICN file is to prevent ZC from having to load each quest when the program starts. That said, there's a small palette bug with the new ICN file that I'm trying to track down.

Also, yeah, fixing the info box would be a good idea.

So, upon loading a quest file into a slot, the ICN file is recreated from scratch? it's better then what it was which is good ;)
