The Arctic ice that some claimed would never return...has returned. Not only that but 2008 is starting out to be one of the cooler years in the last 100 years. Also Al Gore may be in a little hot water about that photo of the polar bears hanging on to that melting iceberg.(actually they were just a few yards from shore) The polar bear population is triple what it was in 1950 and the photographer who took that photo is not all that happy that her photo was used to distort the truth. She captured the shot because of the odd shape of the ice. We have a saying in Tennessee.."if you don't like the weather stick around 30 minutes and it will change"
