I don't think there's anything against bragging about your own accomplishments. :)

Ah I remember you. You banned me once. It's fine though. I was worried that I was breaking the rules posting my YouTube Videos.

Must have been someone else. I don't have the power to ban anybody. :)

Oh. No I think you WARNED me. But not ban. I'll leave that to starkist. But, where's Eckels this time around?

Thanks for sharing with us. I always love speed runs. :)

You made a few critical errors in LOZ run though. Optimally lv.3 or lv.2 are the first dungeons to beat, followed by 4 or 5 respectively. I analysed these both these routes a ways back, and starting at lv3 is the fastest, while starting with lv2 guarantees a 100% no luck speed run. Also since the bow is required to beat the game Lv1 was never really beaten imo. I'm pretty sure i've done lv1 faster also. Constructive critisism is all. :P

where's Eckels this time around?

Aah, you don't need to worry about Eckels. It's winter....so he's hibernating. ;)

edit: http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showthread.php?t=97907 .Here's the thread I started some time ago about it. It outlines how to EASILY beat it in under 45 minutes and still get a red potion. My best time with this method was 38 min. but that was before I figured out the Gannon speedkill and would eliminate the need for potions and cut at least 3 minutes off the total time easy.

I'd never heard of this before. I find the runs that exploit glitches interesting. Although I'm not sure about how they use some kind of program to pre-program/tune their input or something to play "perfectly" or whatever you'd want to call it.

My favorite I saw was someone glitching through Zelda 2 in 6 minutes by exploiting a bug that lets you zoom across the screen very fast.

Oh I remember that one. TAS runs are done on an emulator called Vnes. Yeah. I only did level 1. Not the whole game. I just wanted to test the TAS.

Some of those runs are interesting, especially when done on insanely difficult hacks (http://youtube.com/watch?v=kEq55CN86D4). I don't see how you can play a hack like that normally.

This one is interesting: http://youtube.com/watch?v=kEq55CN86D4

It's an insanely difficult hack of Super Mario Bros. I don't see how someone can play that normally (at least without savestating constantly).
