Quest say not a custom quest

all my quests or ones ive downloaded say not a custom quest whenever i try to play them. somebody please help

That's because the quest number is set to something higher than 0. It has to be 0 in order to be playable.
If it's your quest, then you may want to open it, then go to Quest -> Header, and change the quest number to 0.
If it's a quest you downloaded, you may have to PM the author, asking him/her to reset his/her quest number to 0, unless the quest is unpassworded.

but whenever i try to play 1st quest it does that... who do i contact?

Don't try to load the first quest as a custom quest. Just register a name and then press whatever you have set as the Start button. The quest should begin.
