Font Switching and Stylization X-ed out?

When the suggestion forums were closed and the unfinished features defined, was the ability to switch fonts in strings one of the features that was dropped?

As far as I know I think it was dropped, but at the same time, I understood that it was part of the string editor in the first place which is something we all voted on, on the poll long ago. But I don't know, we would have to get a comment from the developers themselves. Though, I do really want to see this one as it would look good with my storyline driven quest.
