I can't remember the last time I posted anything about Island of Dreams here, so here I go!

For those of you who don't know, Island of Dreams is a revamp of Link's Awakening. Several things have been changed, but overall, it's about the same.

Anyway, the demo I have contains everything up to level 1. I think the only thing you really need to know, is that you can use the R button to do just about anything and everything. Read signs/books, talk to people, use the Magic Powder, Buy things, etc.

It might help generate attention if you post some screenshots. Particularly since you have a quest that is quite visually appealing.

In fact, I'll go ahead and do it for you, because I like how your quest is shaping up.

Captain's Log... umm... Oceandate... something...

Wow, one where you can actually Press Start...

Woooh, what is that loopy thing, Mr. Octorok?

Why are owls always following me around?

Now where have I seen this number before?

WAAAAH!

I didn't know you liked to swim, Mr. Octorok!

Of course, all of those shots make it painfully obvious that I am a complete idiot and missed the shield.:nerd:

EDIT: A minor recurring bug.

If you hold a direction at the end of reading a string, you will sometimes scroll to another screen.

Thanks for posting screenshots for me, I feel like an idiot for not posting them myself. And I didn't know about that bug there... I'll fix it though. :) Hmm... Now something I didn't realize though, is that the Rupee icon, B Button, and map all use level-dependant Csets... That's gotta be fixed too.

Beta Link, you did an excellent job recreating the world of LA. The graphics are superb, but the game is a little glitchy. For example, quitting/saving in the forest will permanently place you in the water. And I suggest you spell "Equipment" correctly in the subscreen. :p

Your screens are looking very good, I'm actually very tempted to play the demo.
Which doesn't happen to often.

Also, it's nice to see some of my things used :)
There's the Mystery Trees and the Pothole script, and I wrote one for pressing start on the title screen too, although I'm not sure whether that's mine.
Anyway, I appreciate you using them ^_^

Heh, thanks Joe. :) Actually, that title screen script is one of mine. Just about everyone has made one, though, right? And I didn't know you were the one who edited those trees, they're superb! :) I found them in the new DoR tileset, and I thought "Hey! It's those trees, but 5x better! Yay!".

And I spelled "equipment" wrong!? Jeez, I gotta go fix that right now. And there's a continue bug too? Well that's not really suprising. I'll go fix that one too. And thanks for your compliments too! It's always nice to hear good things about my game. :)
