I'm sure this must be explained somewhere, but I don't know where... how do you arrange the Link sprites on the tile sheet for each of the animation styles ZC supports (Original, BS, etc.)? -- Pteryx

Check the new default tileset in the latest build.
I think it has a lot of tilepages set out for Link sprites in different animations.

Actaully, come to think of it, if you're using 2.10, that won't do you any good.

Go to www.purezc.com, and check the database there.
Obviously, the default tileset will show you Z1, try DoR for BS.

I'm using 2.5 betas, but the tilesets there are rather uninformative because they just use Z1 frames anyway. I'll see if this "DoR" tileset helps, though; thanks! :) -- Pteryx

No no, they aren't.
Scroll down the tilepage until after the dungeon and overworld tiles, and I think after the item sprites.

I did. The walking animations labelled as being for BS-Zelda and Z3 animation just take the two frames per direction from the original Zelda and repeat them to fill the space, which is of decidedly limited use to someone trying to figure out which frame goes where. Oh well, hopefully I can figure it out from other examples. -- Pteryx

Try downloading the DoR tileset to see how to use BS animation. Or try using the new DoR set (from the Pure ZC forums). The Link to the Past tileset probably has Z3 animation set.
