Triforce pieces don't go into my inventory.

If I make myself start out with triforce pieces, or if I collect a triforce piece, I don't actually end up with any triforce pieces. I'm stumped.

When you collect them, the Level Number of the DMap you collect them on is what number piece you get:
If you set the Level Number to 1, Link will get the first Triforce Piece.

I don't know about starting out with them though.

okay, that worked... but only if I put a triforce piece there to be picked up. I don't want to have people collect triforce pieces, though. I especially don't want the game acting like collecting one is some grand event. Any ideas?

I think there is a way to set it up with the player having all of the triforce pieces. Just set them in the intial data. Under misc., put check boxes by all 8 triforce pieces.
