View Full Version : scripts for shooting projectiles and fans?

I would like a script that shoots projectiles that hurt link like the cannon type balls that shoot at
him in LTTP in the first dungeons entrance, not at random but in a predictable path exactly like those do,
but a random one as well could be nice.

also a script that would move Link like the fans in MC do that are also predictable but also randoms ones
is this one possible? I have done it before somewhat using conveyors and combo cycling, but if there
is an easier way with scripting and FFC's i'm all for it.

also is there a way to via script to change combo animations speeds for say the fans to get them to go from
full force then slow to a stop, and reverse again?

Both of these scripts are available in the Zodiac quest. It's not passworded. Go get it over in Quest Announcement.

Yes, in the ZScript buffer. You want scripts Push_or_Pull and Rapid_Fire_Gun. There's a normal "gun" script too if you just want a single projectile on the screen at once.

this script for the gun, is it for Link, or is it fired projectiles that come at link?

you know what I mean right like the Steel looking balls that link has to dodge
upon entering the Eastern Palace in LTTP?

You can make those balls with ffcs and changers, there's no need for scripting.

I have no idea how to really use FFC's in that way, that's my problem
