^That says it all right there. When it peaks near 100,000 K, it brings up the question of major memory leaks. (especially when you have games that are more graphically capable and complex.)

My guess on where one could be is the mouse, especially when it's over the quest screen. Animation seems to be faster here, which you can see right off with an old computer.

Other possibilities exist, but I'm not entirely sure where.

Does the memory usage start low and rise while you are working on a single quest (without adding new tiles, combos, or maps)?

After a while, yes. However, I did notice a drop sometime after I took the pic, around to 69,000 K or so.

Another thing: It seems that the program doesn't entirely close sometimes--when this happens zquest-w.exe still exists on the Processes tab, taking around 35,000 K of memory, even though the app is dead. More evidence that there are memory leaks. Give me a moment, and I'll try to recreate the situation, if I can.

That happens about 50% of the time I close ZQuest 2.10. So... I don't know about that.

ZQuest does indeed takes up a lot of memory, but unless you see the amount of allocated memory increasing regularly over time, it's not a leak.

No response. Moving to Limbo.
