Just wondering, is there any way I can reduce Link's walking speed?
He walks like he's on crack or something compared to Link's Awakening.

Which isn't great fun really >_<

Actually, Link's waking speed is quite reasonable considering the size of the screen in relation to his sprite. As Link's Awakening has a smaller screen, a slower Link is required to make the screens "feel" the same size as the NES screen.

And to answer your question: sorry, no.

Could there be an option in the future for it? Maybe it could allow us to make more
different games (Mario?) and mini-games (Zelda)

Fair point actually _L_, I didn't think of that.

Fact is though, I also have a small screen, so it does feel a bit strange.
I might script slower walking speed, I already did it but I'm not sure whether I'd want to have it run globally all the time or not.

EDIT: Oh yeah, the script works fine.
I don't think there are going to be any great disadvantages of it, and it beats making all of my floor combos into slow walk =P

I'm a bit sheepish about applying quest-wide effects like that via the global script, especially if they change how things work so drastically, but I suppose it's nothing really compared to making 10x8 screens anyway.

Are you going to change enemies' walking speeds, too? It would prove to be a little weird (and difficult) when enemies that you could easily blast right by would be as fast or faster than Link.

Probably wouldn't have thought of that.

Won't be to hard though, I'll add it to my to-do list which I haven't written yet =P

For some reason people have decided that since the Suggestions forum is closed, suggestions are welcome here. As always,
1) Make do with the features you already have (which are already a considerable step above 2.10), or
2) Fake it with scripts.
