Enhanced music has been put on hold untill after 2.5, but bassically it will allow you to load music such as Mp3s just like you load midis.

So what does change track do? And what is alternate music? I believe it was in dmaps on the second tab :P. I can load mp3's into that but they dont play :S

You need the mp3's in the same folder as zc.

Make sure the Mp3 is in the same folder as the quest. It should work. Note that Mp3s play quieter than normal files, so you might just have the sound turned down too much to here it.

It is and it still doesn't play.

Are you putting it in the same folder and then LOADING it to the dmap you want it to work with?
If you are, then it should work, all of mine do.

If it does, then it's a bug.

you might be right, is it meant to only revert to midi if the alternate music can't be found/accessed? if yes then i believe my statement above was wrong ^^

I beleive that if it can't find the MP3 or load it, it'll just use the midi. The midi shouldn't override the MP3, from what I know.

Correct. If you have both a midi and an Mp3 loaded, ZC will look for the Mp3 in the folder the quest is in. If it finds it, it plays it. If it can't find the Mp3, it plays the midi instead.

Still didnt work :(. Either their is somthing wrong with my zquest and doesnt want to play, or could be a bug in the 668 build.

Try a .mod or .it file. www.mirsoft.info has TONS of them. (I recommend the Jazz Jackrabbit 2 soundtrack. Fine, fine stuff. <3 )

Also, is *EVERYTHING* in the same folder? And I do mean everything. I keep each beta in its own separate folder, but then don't make any subfolders in there at all. It all goes in that beta folder. MP3, quest, everything.

No the music that I want is in the same folder, it just isnt playing, I think its just a bug in the current version or its just my computer that doesn't want to play it.

So you reloaded it after putting it in the quest folder? Is the wave section of the sound control panel of the comp muted? This happened to me and I couldn't fix it for a week because I didn't know. What beta are you using? That might help.
Oh and for the record, change track is for gameboy emu music. There might be multiple tracks on a single file, so Koopa added this feature to change the track.
