You need to open a quest with selected tileset, or rip the tiles.

The easiest way is to get the tileset you want at PureZC in .qst form and then just build with it.

Right so do as Freedom suggested. Go to www.purezc.com and go to the tilesets there. Download the file (most are in quest format) and open it through ZQuest. You will then be able to build with that tileset.

That's the easiest way to do it.

You'll see that they also have "Loose Tiles", however. You can "Rip" these tiles into your game. What you have to do is save the picture they give you. You then go to your Tile Editor in ZQuest, and press G for "Grab." Go to "File" and select the picture from wherever you stored it in, and press "Leech". That should transfer the tiles into ZQuest. They won't be able to be put on screens yet though, you'll need to "Combo" them. I believe Alphadawg's Tutorial covers Combo Editing.

That's because It needs the Mushroom Powerup!

...*wait for zeldanerd to shake head*....

Actually just go to: Options->Fullscreen, and click it. That'll do her.

Uhh, it's in the same folder as Zquest and you're opening it through ZQ->File->Open, yes?

.Oh, wait. you need to save it then extract it to the ZQ folder...or just drag and drop it.

What do you mean it doesn't have the dungeon tiles? What tileset are you using? In some you just have to scroll down a long way and then manually draw the screen with the combos.

If you need your overworld to be bigger than two maps, set it up on two maps, give the maps dmaps, and then use side warps to go from the left side of one map to the right side of the other.

Right click the file and click extract which should allow you to open the file.
