need help

When I download a zelda game and try to play,the same game keeps coming out and when I try to start a new quest and I do the select custom quest thing an error keeps coming out saying not a custom quest.So please help

That's because the quest number is set to something higher than 0. You have to set it to 0 in order for your quest to be playable.

What you were telling him was a little advanced for the old 'I'm new, how to I open a custom quest' question really.

I having trouble getting into any of the Zelda games, I've downloaded lost-isle,link to tortuge and some other programs but when I try to open them they are the same game,and can you be more specific about the 0 quest thing

Ah, that's because you have to use the correct version of ZC that the quest was made in.
Link to Tortuga I believe is a 2.10 quest, however you'll have to download Lost Isle's specific version of Zelda Classic if you want to play that.

It'll say what version the quest is made for on the download page in the quest database.
