I picked this up the day I left for Kuwait. I beat it today, and I started playing it again. There are quite a few new things in it. I don't know anyone else who has it, so I haven't been able to play it against anyone yet, but the new anime cut scenes are bad ass, and on top of that, there are several more cut scenes added into the game to fill some pre existing plot holes. The battlefield graphics have all been smoothed out. It looks better than it did on the PSX, but there is a bit of slow down when special effects appear, but you get used to it after a bit. This is definately a better version than the original. If you have a PSP and are a fan of it, or a fan of tactical strategy games, I highly suggest it. I know Square has been putting out a lot of rereleases lately, but this one is actually worth it, I think.
