The header for my latest Zquest quest became corrupted, is it possible to fix it?

I think that's unlikely. Apparently if you PM one of the devs they can help you, but I also heard that if you have a header error it's likely they can't.

Sorry you've lost work and all.

Moral of the story is though; back up as often as you can.

Oh my gosh! This is case number four of the header file getting corrupted. Please, do you have any idea what you were doing when this happened? If you know what you were doing when it corupted, you might have information to eliminate a potentially leathal bug.

Did you have autobackup turned on? You could just restore from the last save.

I was working on my quest when my comp froze. It's as simple as that.

Chances are no, unless it is automatically on after install.

What were you doing at the time of the freeze?

I was adding a message string and then it froze.

I believe that the quest became corrupted before, but somehow fixed itself over time.

It SHOULD be turned on automatically. It should only turn off it you specifically told it to do so. Look for .qt0 and .qb0 files in your zc quest directory.

Strange, those files don't exist anywhere.

Well how do you contact them?

Well two of them posted in this thread, Dark Nation and DarkDragon. If you have done everything they suggested, you may have to upload the file somewhere and link to it here so they can take a look at it.

Never mind, I'm remaking it, there wasn't really that much on it, I can remake it from memory.
