Screen Resolution Issues

Whenever I play ZC on my home PC, every time I exit it seems to reset the screen size settings for my desktop. Anyone have this problem before, or better yet, a solution?

adjust ZeldaClassics configuration file and set resolution to 640x480 and sbig=1

but i dont think that will help, only way would be to have HUGE black borders around the game when you set the resolution to match your desktop. sbig only enlarges the gameplay to 640x480 and the rest is just blank.
