Super Mario Galaxy Prologue video. Holy crap! This reminds me so much of the real classic Marios - particularly SMB3 and SMW. Can't wait for this game.

Click any of the blue buttons, then on each page the blue button below the image. One thing that's neat, if you click the one at the very bottom (with Bee Mario next to it), there is a new suit on there. Apparently Mario can also turn into a ghost.

Awww man, that brings back memories. Seriously, to see the airships, and the classic airship music, so freakin' awesome! Personally, what I'd REALLY love is if they brought back the Koopa kids. I'm so sick of this Bowser Jr. crap, I want the Koopalings!

Woahhh! Airships! Please god (Miyamoto), let there be airship levels in this game, and Koopalings too! SMB3 is my all time favorite Mario game...

This makes me glad I talked my cousin into pre-ordering it. He claims to have did it for his girlfriend, but seeing as how BOTH thought Super Princess Peach was hard, I'll probably end up playing it for them like I did with Super Paper Mario. So it works out for me in the end, haha! :D

Ok, apparently people are saying that Nintendo Power confirmed the Fire Flower is returning in this game! w00t!!

The October 2007 issue of Nintendo Power confirmed the return of the Super Mushroom, Starman, and Fire Flower power-ups. This is the first time these have made their first true appearance in a 3D Mario platforming game.

The ps3 was realeased over
2-3 years ago in china yet it
just comes out here in the
USA.I bet they already have
ps4,wile we are still geting
used to the ps3.

... You are a wildly misinformed person. While it's true that games can have a lag time of several months to a year between the japanese and US releases, that's only natural considering the time it takes to localize software. It's nowhere even remotely near what you're describing, though... I'm fairly certain that Super Mario Galaxy is releasing in the US within weeks of it's Japanese launch.

The PS3 out in china for 2-3 years before it came to the US? That is so completely wrong it makes me sad that anybody could actually believe that. As I recall, the PS3 released in both Japan AND the US in November of '06. What with Sony being a Japanese company, that makes Japanese products, in Japan, I don't see how China even comes into play here. And then you claim the PS4 is already out...? It must be nice to live in that kind of fantasy world.

To avoid future mockery, it's best to make sure your information is at least mostly factual before using it to make a statement or form an opinion.

Generally it's a good idea to look up something you're not sure about (or that you were just told with no proof) with a reliable or at least mostly reliable source. Wikipedia qualifies as a mostly reliable source and here's what they have to say about the PS3 release date: "The PlayStation 3 was first released in Japan on November 11, 2006, at 07:00... Soon after its release in Japan, the PS3 was released in North America on November 17." So the PS3 was released one day earlier in Japan than in the US. Also, no, there is no PS4 released yet........

Also, DarkDragoonX's information is correct. Games usually come out in Japan earlier because they're created there and translation and localization take several months. A lot of times systems are released simultaneously though. And as Sony and Nintendo are Japanese companies, and many game companies are Japanese, it makes a lot more sense that games come out earlier in Japan (than say, China).

As for the Mario vids, those were pretty awesome. They definitely did give me a very classic Mario vibe, and I'm really excited about this game. I wasn't very happy with Sunshine mostly because I didn't really like the whole water attachment, but it's nice to see the traditional powerups returning along with some that look more along the lines of what I find fun to play with (like the bee and the ghost. the bee actually reminds me of the old raccoon powerup in SM3).

But yay. Though I don't get the Ice powerup. What does that do besides let you walk on water? I hope that is not the only function, otherwise it's a bit lame.

If it lets you freeze enemies... Oh wow, that would be cool. They should totally have like "ice balls" or snowballs or something like that.

Ugg.. PLEASE tell me there is more to this suit than making little ice blocks under your feet. That makes it useless 99% of the time. I hate when powerups are designed around one specific puzzle and useless for every other situation.

Just stumbled on this video. It shows off quite a bit of the game.. some of it is stuff we saw in the other videos, but a lot of it at least looked new to me. Makes me want this game even more... three and a half weeks :(

It has some minor spoilers, but I definately recommend checking it out. There is some awesome direct-feed footage and the discussions are actually even interesting.
