On my left wrist. Yes, it hurt, but not as bad as the one on my foot. Way cute.]

Anyone else have any tattoos? I have 3 now. Getting a 4th when I get my income tax return.

My roommate and I plan on getting tattoos. Not sure when yet, probably when I have the disposable income for it. I'm thinking about getting a red maple leaf on my back right shoulder.

Old picture, I need to take a new one now that my back cleared up.

Done by Bunny at Stained Skin in Newark. I'm going back after the first of the year to get the EMS symbol which is the star of life below it on the right side.

Bunny works at Sparky's, biggiy. :p He did my other two tattoos... Got this one done by my best friend's uncle at his shop, "Land of Oz Tattooz" on West Broad...

Awesome... I could never get a tattoo, though, because I have commitment issues.

I was talking to my sister about Stained Skin and trying to reply, so shoot me.

Anyways yeah Bunny was awesome and I need to go back there and show him the final result of his work.

Cool tattoos all around. I wish I had some ideas for one. I'm just way too indecisive to get something so permanent without a lot of thought.

Only one word comes to mind when I think of a tattoo: "Ew."

Not for me. The last thing I want to do is inject ink into my skin.

So a prince Albert is out of the question for you then?

Nice. However I'm afraid to ask the amount of pain involved with needles and vertebrae. I'm assuming some whiskey was in the mix for dealing with the pain also.

Any tattoo hurts the most right on bone. I think the healing process for that particular tattoo would hurt more than the tattoo itself. Sleeping on it, showering, etc. I mean, it's just an open wound. Could you imagine sleeping on that?! Yuck.

Also, most tattoo shops won't tattoo you if you're drunk. Alcohol relaxes your muscles and it'll make the tattoo look sloppy. Plus, the chances of you passing out are higher, pissing yourself, throwing up, etc. They just prefer not to do it.

I'll only get a tattoo when they can laser ink it onto the skin without hurting me.

Then, I'd like to get a "Lens of truth" symbol lazered onto the back of my hand.

But until they develop that technology...>_> no tatoos for me.

Oh, come on Aegix, be a man! Take the pain! I mean... Well, I'm still not getting a tattoo 'cause I couldn't commit to one, but still... Go for it!

Yeah, lasers aren't going to hurt; By the way, hand, neck, or head tattoos for first timers are kind of a taboo in the tattoo world. You might not be able to find an artist who'd do it.

Thaaaanks a lot for making me Wikipedia that. I'll just tell you that it gave plenty of pictures.

Anyway, yes. Yes it is.

I hate to grave dig, but it would be pointless to start a new thread. I just got a tattoo done today.

I'm computer illiterate so just follow the link.

You crazy Canadians and your maple leaf.

Just kidding. Looks good and the black tint on the side is a nice touch.

That looks REALLY good. How long ago did you get it? The shading is really nice. Very well done.

Mine is still healing. I think it's because of where it is... I bump it on my desk at work a lot. Doesn't feel nice. It's going to need some serious touching up once it's healed...

I got my tattoo on Friday and it took about 30 minutes to do.

Now my tattoo seems to be peeling like a sunburn. Is that normal?

moocow
10-22-2007, 07:17 PM
Completely. Whatever you do, don't pick at it or anything. Let it peel on it's own.

Oh and don't scratch it! When I got the one on my back done my shirts were constantly rubbing against and it drove me crazy because I wanted to scratch it so bad.
