What version are you using. I know there was a glitch with custom swords level 5 and above. Also, you might want to make sure you have enough hearts to pick it up. Some swords require a certain number of hearts to pick up. And since it looks like this is your first post, welcome to ZC!

You need a newer beta in order to do everything you're trying to do.

Yes, sadly, 254 can't accomplish this. Just download the newest alpha build.

You can't make new items in 2.10... You need to download the newest beta at www.shardstorm.com if you want to make newer items. I'd advise that you don't and stick to 2.10 for a while if you haven't got round the program too well yet though.

yeah i used 254 for a while, but its really buggy and only good if you are still learning how to make enemies and items. Now i use build 584 or 582 or somethin like that. Its the latest build for windows and i highly recommend it if you are willing to up-grade.

Also, welcome.

thanks but i have another question, will my game mess up if i make a 2nd overworld?

ive tried this too. if you make another map for the overworld, you can set up scroll warps and make it look like nothing changed, when really, you can use different csets and things like that. so no it shouldn't, you just need a smooth transfer between them.
