Ganon's Claim

Hi,

I realize this is a long shot, but I'm sure there has to be other fans of DFW that go back and play her older quests from time to time.

I recently tackled Ganon's Claim and I have two problems:

1. I can't access the room in the lower left corner of Level 3. I have completed the level, gotten the blue ring and red candle, but I have a sneaky feeling that something is in that room I need. I just seem to go around in circles and can't figure it out.

2. Speaking of needing things. In Level 4 I believe I need the ladder, again I am unable to find it and have to wonder if that's what I missed in 3.

Any help as always would be much appreciated. I have, as always, combed through the old threads I could find, but haven't located an answer. One person said look around the room where the blue ring is located, but there is nothing.
