It's too bad that the freeway there doesn't look like an LA Freeway.

And yes, I hate how they close exits like that. My brother and I had to spend an extra 10 minutes driving at midnight because an interchange ramp was closed. We then got back to UCLA and about 10 minutes later there was a fatal accident near where we were (so I heard the next day).

It was one of the few times that I was on the 405 with no traffic.

Gah! The worst is when I have to go to the 405 to the 605 to the 5, then the 101. I remember quite a few times my 40 min drive turning into 2 + hours. I hate traffic so much...it burns through my soul...

The route I take the most in LA is 101->134->210->15. That's the fastest way to get from the 101 out to the desert - which unfortunately is frequently my destination.

Ha! There's no way around it, they all suck. My three destinations however would be LA, Hollywood, and Huntington beach. Not really near the desert, ...or LAX. I rarely need to take the 10 or 210 for anything.

You'd be surprised. The route through the desert I have to take is the same route people use to go to Vegas, so there tends to be a shit ton of traffic out there. Especially since the times I usually go to visit my parents are the holidays, and I guess a lot of people like to use them as excuses to go gamble.
