Awww... :( This was a VERY smart parrot. He helped researchers a lot thru the 30 years of his life. I'm sure his handlers will miss him terribly.

I'm not someone who would keep birds, more of a reptile, dog and my horse but that is one cool bird!

Sad to hear he died but he was pretty amazing.

I read an article a few minutes ago about this. He could count to six, recognize colors, and most importantly, express how much he hated being asked to count to six and recognize colors all day long. Smart bird.
