Sidescrollers used with Roc's feather only allows Link to jump 1 1/2 combos high so sometimes you have to use a "half" block to get him to the right height.
That means only a lower half combo set to no-walk.
Walkers seem to fall down in that and become stuck.
I've only tried it with Stalfos and every one of them got stuck so I'm guessing all other walkers would get stuck as well.

EDIT, Like likes fall through as well.

Yes. The problem is, a lot of the movement code was originally written with nothing like falling, scripting, enemy editing, etc. in mind, so it doesn't handle unusual events, such as the walker being only half on a tile, well at all. The enemy code will need to be 90% rewritten to be robust under manipulation by these new features, but that is a project for post-2.50.
