AT&T is SO gonna fight this with every breath in their body. They think they've locked everyone that buys an iPhone into a rock solid 2 year contract.

From a legal standpoint the fight ahead looks to be a very intense and interesting one.

I am going to guess that it won't be AT&T. Apple just dropped the price of the iPhone by $200. If this software gets out, which I am sure it will, that price drop will have a lot of people looking to buy it if they can easily adapt it to another network.
