Quote: The analysis by doctors affiliated with the Sports Legacy Institute suggests repeated concussions could have contributed to the killings at Benoit's suburban Atlanta home.

Steroid use also has lingered as a theory, since anabolic steroids were found in the home and tests conducted by authorities showed Benoit had roughly 10 times the normal level of testosterone in his system when he died.

The institute, which researches the long-term effects of concussions, coordinated the testing using samples of Benoit's brain tissue provided by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

So instead of "the devil made me do it"... it's a case of "my brain made me do it"?

EVERY wrestler that goes into the ring knows that they run the risk of damaging their body - especially their brain. And still they do all this "willingly" and sometimes even "eagerly" - for money and entertainment?

The benefit outweighs the risks? Common sense would say no...

It is my opinion that not everyone knows what they are getting themselves into, but most do. Traveling 300+ days a year, banging up your body 50 weeks out of a year, for multi-million dollar contracts per year. It may seem worth it to alot of people.

But over the course of two decades, that shit adds up.

Benoit was the only one individual that I've ever heard of doing that kind of thing. The rest have all died from various heart failures or whatever.
