Fairies of Elysia: Demo

A demo for Fairies of Elysia, my quest in progress, is now available. Here is the link

Use 2.10 (or you can try on of the 2.11 betas) for this demo. If you encounter a bug, please post it here.

Sorry for the double-post, but it appears that I will have to completely revamp the story for the completed quest since it too closely resembles that of the Zelda series. What would you think?

I tried your demo and although I like the concept of finding the 4 heart pieces before getting the sword I found 3 pieces but I have no more bombs to even use on the enemies in order to find that last piece. Due to the fact that not all the enemies give bombs after being killed, nor do I have $20.00 to buy more I can't get the sword so my game is over. I was wondering why I can't carry 8 bombs?
If you change the way we get the sword I would gladly play this.

Four bombs is the maximum to start this quest. I know DarkFlameWolf did the same for Hidden Duality.

To avoid running out, you have to be careful not to pick up bombs until you are about to run out. For instance, do not immediately take the bombs that you get when you beat the Dodongo or in the rooms that follow.

I think the Heart Piece you are missing is one screen north and one west (bomb the left wall) from the Dodongo room.

I already got the heart piece you mention. There only 2 rooms on the map that I was not able to get to They're the 2 rooms on the bottom right part of the map.

Those rooms are not accessible yet. Those lead to the end of the demo (after you get the complete Triforce). The Heart Pieces are as follows.

1. Compass room (push block)
2. Aquamentus Room (push block)
3. Room north of Dodongo (push block)
4. Room west of #3 (bomb wall and kill Moldrom with 2 bombs).

For you ms_zelda_lady and any others who had problems getting the first sword, would you prefer that I post an edited version of this demo in this thread--one that fixes this issue of the potential for the player to get "stuck with no bombs?"

In fact, that is exactly what I chose to do. If you are getting stuck in the opening mini-dungeon with no bombs, please play the altered version of this demo. The download link is http://www.mediafire.com/?egjbconwolx.

This version fixes the problem so that you won't have to fight enemies to get the last two Heart Pieces and risk running out of bombs. The fourth HC Piece is in a different room from where I originally placed it. The remainder of the demo has not been changed.
