Is there a way to make a FFC APPEAR to be above link (w/o useing 'overhead' combo) The actual layer is not important just that it does not look like Link is stepping on an object that he is 'carrying' :D

Yes, there is a flag in the FFC editor entitled "Draw above" or similar.

Now the question is, how to make a Freeform "Mist" Layer, like from ALTTP's Mysterious Forest north of Kakariko Village. I wish the FFC's didn't have to be a maximum of only 4x4, from what I've seen.

It doesn't take that many FFCs to fill a screen, and with a script, you don't even have to set them up yourself. All 32 FFCs are there always, and a script can manipulate any of them. So make a little script that just grabs six FFCs you're not using for anything else (like 32 - 28), moves them into position on the screen, and sets their combos. Booya. Better yet, you can randomize the mist a little this way.

Thanks, I really should 'look before I leap' :D
ShadowTiger, just curious why would you want to use FFC's for mist, can't you just layer the combo. (I am trying to remeber what the mist looks like from lttp)
