How hard would it be to fix the annoying mouse flicker?

You know how when you roll your mouse over the combo bars or the info bar on the main screen it flickers? It's really a minor nuisance, but could you fix that easily? (Like in a couple minutes)

in zquests options turn on vsync.

No. It's on. It flickers from time to time especially on animated combos.

I thought I remembered reading at some point that the mouse issue may be a problem outside of ZC and thus can't really be adjusted by the devs. I know there was a specific problem in the bugs forum. I don't know if it was the same one but it sure could be related.

erm is right; it's an Allegro problem.

There are a few things that can be done to minimize the flickering: if you're running full screen, be sure you're also passing in -scale 1 as a parameter. Windowed mode also appears roughly flicker-free.

Not on my end. When Windowed, (Scale 2 though. I'll try scale 1, though I'm sure you can figure out why we'd use Scale 2 over Scale 1.) there are areas of the screen (Roughly in the middle of the upper half of the screen.) that causes the combo highlight to flicker and vanish when the highlight occupies those horizontal rows of the screen. (In terms of pixels.)

(The "Highlight" is the blinking white box that appears around the combo you've clicked on in the combo pages.)

Scale 1 is way too small on LCD monitors. I use scale 3 which might be the problem.
