Zelda Classic not working on vista?

I have Windows Vista Home Basic and when i run every version of Zelda Classic (both editor and game runner) It will crash. The only thing that will open is the ZC-sound editor or whatever it is, Didnt discover it yet. Is there a special version for windows vista? Or can this be made?

Yeah, I have been using the 2.5 builds on my Vista laptop for the past month or so and they work fine. Every now and then it may load and have some issue with colors, but if I just minimize and then maximize it again it will eventually reset correctly. That's the only I issue I have had so far.

It's also very accurate to say the builds almost need to use ZC Launcher to work correctly, except for the Lost Isle build. That does work fine if you just launch zelda.exe. russadwan did a great job of pointing that out in the other thread.
