Anyone set up large shadows yet?
I haven't seen them implemented anywhere, in Neo or in the proposed 1st.
How exactly do they set up?
I have them working, but don't know if it's quite right.

I thought they weren't implemented yet. I've never seen them working either. I would *assume* that (If they were implemented, which obviously we're not quite sure yet. o.o ) they would have the tiles page setup similar to the Nayru's Love Crystal/Bubble.

Yes, they have been implemented now since 448. Open ZQ (build 492 is current), you'll start with a fresh quest. Click Quest > Graphics > Sprites > Weapons/Misc. Scroll down and double-click "Misc: Shadow (Large)" and you will see the properties. Click the tile and you'll see the setup of the Large Shadow. This is for the enemy: Boulder.

I know all of that, I was talking about how to set the tiles up.
how many does it use, does it look for 2 under 2, 4 under 4 what?
I got it working, but it flashes clear every now and again, and I want to know why.

Large shadows work for 2x2 enemies the same way small shadows work for 1x1 enemies; that is, whenever the enemy advances a frame, the shadow also advances a frame, where in this case a frame is a 2x2 block of tiles. Thus, for instance, four frames of large shadows would look like

11223344
11223344

Where the 2x2 block of 1s is the first frame, etc.
on the tile page.
I don't remember if 4 frames is enough for Boulders; if you're seeing blank shadow frames or garbage tiles, that means you don't have enough shadow frames.

It disappears so I need more, I'm only using two sets of 2x2, so I'll add 2 more.
Thanks. ;)
