My chem/bio teacher once did that, and she says that she didn't swallow it, but I don't know. She at least said that it burns like hell.

I've drank lemon juice and eaten the pulp of lemons for years. That's mostly what I use for salad dressing here at home. And even after all these years I STILL make faces with it... Paul seems to be really entertained when I eat lemons.
