I see we have some common ground.

Fixing computers for a living here in Olympia I see more than my share of Apple systems. You can always tell an Apple user when they walk in the door. They look like a hippie, smell like last week, and act as if they are some sort of royalty by virtue of their choice of computer.

When a Windows PC breaks, the user will blame Microsoft. When an Apple computer breaks, the user will blame his neighbours, the local computer techs, the stars - anyone but Apple themselves. Jobs and company have convinced a small yet vocal group of consumers that they are a special class, that their products are perfect.

If I had said two years ago that people would stand in line for the privilege of paying $600 plus another $1500 in contract fees for a smartphone that is not as smart as other, cheaper models, who would have believed me?
