I would go in Super Mario Bros. 3 for Nintendo Entertainment System talk about God and his son and The Holy Spirit but I would try to win all levels,
gain secret items and when finished "come out of the game" and go on my normal duties.

Super Mario 3. I hope you'd have access to some asprin and a hardhat!

Hrmm...Is there an NES game with hot chicks, a beach, and some positive cash flow? I'll pick that one. But only if I didn't have to return to reality anytime soon ;p

Zelda Classic, you may not be familar with the forum's rules and standards, but generally it's not good to respond with one or two words that don't add anything to the topic. So don't post one liners with no real meaning, it's spamming. Goto the New Members forum and find the rules and read them.

Did nobody see this? He's saying he'd take the time while enjoying his vacation in SMB3-land to proselytize.

I'd probably go into FFX and stalk Lulu to get some good looks at her gorgeous rack.

No, I can't top missionary work in the Mushroom Kingdom.

I would go inside Super Mario Bros. 3 and hit Zelda Classic with a fireball.

I about died laughing at this. Oh my god. I had noticed this earlier but I didn't really have anything else to say at the time. Thats going in my sig.

Anyway, on topic. I guess I'd go into...Final Fantasy? I dunno. Video games are fun to play, but would you honestly want to go through all the work and hardships the heroes do? I know I wouldn't. I'll say on the outside thank you.

Yeah, that's why I hadn't posted in this thread yet. For the first time ever, I was wholly at a loss for words.

As for what NES game I'd enter? Dragon Warrior, no question. And when the princess asks me if I doth love her, I will punch her in the face and run.

an Nes game? Not sure at all which one.

I'd probably want to go into a nice, fun RPG. Run around, save the world, become famous, find a nice girl (*thinks of Sheena from ToS*), and generally live a much more fun life than here.

I'd go into Zelda 1 while Link was struggling in level 6.

Hand him a mirror shield, master sword, and gold ring, and tell him "Have fun buddy."

Then just walk back out, all badass and shit. :p

I'd go inside Tetris, and then I'd

Wait, wtf? Nevermind. I'd probably go inside Startropics and explore the islands and their caves. Tropical islands with hazardous caves and a rad miniature submarine...man, who could ask for anything more?

Either that or I'd go inside The Legend of Zelda and just hang out with Link while he did his thang. I'm reminded of the story that kid wrote for Nintendo Power; I believe it was called "Friends", and it was about his friendship with Link and how they solved the game's puzzles together. I liked it a lot when I read it some fifteen years ago or so. The imagination is a wonderful tool.

Understandable. While my post was mildly uncalled for, I felt a little vindictive which was caused, in part, by your constant rambling in various topics. Nor is it any help that your posting style is strongly reminiscent of lightning-z. Certainly if your posts had more substance then I would be in the wrong, but as of yet, you've said very little. Perhaps you are unclear as to the best way to communicate on the forums, which is understandable, seeing as how you are newly registered. Generally, posts should have more than three words and contain some content. Anything else makes you like like a spammer, especially if you do it consistently.

Anyway, as I said, I apologize for being overly harsh, but do try to step up the content in your posts. You don't want to be 'that guy' who just talks but never says anything. It would help to read this: http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showthread.php?t=78500 and if you wish to reply to this, please do so in a Private Message, so as to not further derail this topic.
Thanks.
"Oh shit, here comes Karen. Karen's a douchebag"

Regarding an NES game to go into, most of them aren't where I'd want to go. I was thinking of any video game I'd like to go into the volleyball game with the nude women.

I'm surprised more people haven't suggested that they'd go into the rarely mentioned NES title "Hot Slot".

Pixel porn isn't my thing, though, so I'd probably go for Mega Man, 'cause robots are cool.

The_Amaster

Definatly Megaman. With Mario or Zelda, I'd be worried that I wasn't skilled enough physically to pull stuff off, but I can totally handle the whole robot thing.

Win all the levels to Christ perhaps?

But seriously, I really admire this. As any good Conservative Christian understands, all of the denizens of the Mushroom Kingdom are currently on the fast track to becoming fried food because they have never heard the Word of God.

Heck no. Every car in the world is trying to run you over. Statues try to set you on fire. People roll wheels into you. and even if you manage to survive all that, they make you run an obstacle course before they pay you! Plus, if you mess up, not only do you end up in the hostpital, but they fire you and it makes the front page!

Not my ideal world. I'd much prefer Final fantasy Tactics advance. you can fight all you want and as long as you're not fighting in an abandoned zone, you can't be killed! Sounds great to me!

Funnily enough, Japanese Link has heard the word of God, but the English one hasn't. The Bible was re-translated to "Magic Book".

This, and the giant cross on his shield never caught anyone else's attention?

Also, I wish my bible would let me shoot fire at people.

Also also, Aegix, we're supposed to choose NES games, according to the first post. So you're hereby thrown into Final Fantasy 1, and for breaking the rules, you're also not given any potions. Ha.

I change my vote. Forget Mega Man; I'm moving into the Salad Kingdom (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/nes/data/587528.html).

hmm, this is a tough one... I tend to think in terms of series more than NES games... I'd really love to... MOVE... to the Mushroom Kingdom. It's a really lovely place, and I absolutely love the idea of partying there at night (or just traveling around in it.) Also, the concept of getting there from a cold concrete city of men (Brooklyn residents, you have a lovely city, but I'm just a suburb fan.) I'd also love to explore Super Metroid, but SNES game.

If I had to pick an NES game, well... let me look at my big friggin collection... maybe I'll find something in there... ...hmm, nothing interesting comes to mind... I'll have to say either Super Mario Bros. or StarTropics.

You're kidding, right? If not, I'd have to go in there, and dawn the fur suit, and crush you beneath my stone statue transforming goodness.

Alternatively, I'd go into Zelda, and use my awesome diagonal walking magic and defeat Link. I'm not sure what comes next though :D

Throwing yourself off a cliff requires more work than dying in Battletoads.

Once again, have you even played Battletoads? Half of the levels begin with your character seconds from death. Jumping off of a cliff usually requires you to climb a railing, get some air, and then make it to the ground. And unless you get some decent fall time, you're just going to injure yourself severely and take minutes to die.

I forgot how boring the Salad Kingdom is, so I'll be hanging out Solid Snake for a while, racing cardboard boxes.

The only difference between this world and the Salad Kingdom is that the vegetables talk. Farmies FTW. I'd eat Sir Cucumber and Princess Tomatoes if I cared for vegetables...but Minister Pumpkin, I'll have two slice of pumpkin pie please!

err...you must have misunderstood. I was talking about your life expectancy in Battletoads being very, very low while also saying that flinging yourself over a cliff required actual work. Sorry if I wasn't clear on this.
