I have some question about newer items on the 2.10 version of ZQ. And I know they're simple answers but I can't find them out on my own.
What do these items do?

-Naru's love
-Faroe's wind
-Amulet
-And braclet lv.2

Although I don't know the answer to this, I would very much like to know myself.

Also, I can't get the Hookshot and a few other items to appear on the subscreen, as there is no space for them. How would I use the hookshot or Din's Fire or any of them?

The first two are spells, I forget what they do and what the other items do..
So I can't really answer your question.

And to Hyru1e, I'm not sure about Din's Fire, I kept trying but couldn't get a Magic Bar to appear for me.. as for the HookShot, that works fine for me..

Hookshot and similar items are activated on the subscreen by a certain quest rule if I recall. Same for magic. As for the items...

Nayru's Love-Forms a protective shield for a while.

Farore's Wind- Warps you to the starting point.

Amulet-Makes invisible enemies visible.

Bracelet Lv2- Allows you to push "Very Heavy" blocks.

The answer is go to Quest/Misc data/Subscreen types, and choose Revision two. It makes the Inventory a 5x3 box instead of the 4x3 box that you might have set up.

Thanks Amaster42, That definitly helps. But When I try to use Naru's love it doesn't work. I'm thinking maybe having two magic points isn't enough but I don't know?

You probably don't have enough magic. All three spells use a much larger amount of magic than some of the other conventional weapons.

I activated the "Use Magic" thing on the Quest Rules, but the magic bar doesn't appear. Is there some item I need to put in to make it so the magic bar appears?

Do the other god spells work? Because they all cost the same. And I think( don't know) that maybe there was a bug with NL in 2.10.

I can't get the Magic Bar to appear either way.

Under initial data you should also give yourself some magic there if you have it enabled. There are magic containers, similar to heart containers, that you can put in your quest to extend the amount of magic the player can use. If you don't give yourself any initially, you won't see the bar.

Thanks for the tip!

But wait... I just tried to put a Hookshot in my game, with the new subscreen, and it worked! However, it won't pull be across gaps! Why not? I tried putting the "Hookshot" flag over some blocks, but that just made the block disappear when the Hookshot hit it.

What do I do?

You have to use the Hookshot Grab combo.

...Is that a flag? What is it? How do I get it?

It's a combo type. If you right click a combo in the selector on the right it's an option there. Depending on the tileset you are using you may already have some combos there that are set up as hookshot grabs. You will have to look around a bit.

Okay, I'll check it out. Thank you!

Sorry for the double post, but I just tried it and it worked! Thank you so much. Now I can use the Hookshot in my quest!

It might be difficult designing dungeons around it, though. But it should be fun.

New question. Whats the difference between the Lv.1 and Lv.2 amulet?

If you are still talking about version 2.10, the level 1 amulet will allow you to see invisible enemies. You can set enemies invisible by using a screen flag. The level 2 amulet is there but actually not implemented in 2.10, so it does nothing.

Ok. Do you know what it does in 2.11 if it does anything?
