Is there some way to (I dout that there is) to convert a .qst to a .smc (super nintendo rom format) So that the quest can be played with say.. zsnes or some snes emulator?

No. I might be a little off, but Quest files are completely dependant on the ZC engine which is in the ZC player (Zelda-w). Without the engine, you cannot play the quests.

Correct. You'd need to port ZC itself to the SNES (highly unlikely given ZC's current hardware requirements).
