The AP test that I thought I did the best on I got a 3. I was worried about the other ones and I got better grades on them. I just want to see what other people got on it and how they thought they did, I'm just baffled right now. :scared:

Oh yeah, 1800th post.

Uhh I took two AP English tests I guess they were both literature. I got whatever it took to get credit for the two English electives I needed in college, I think a 3 was minimum and all I cared about was making that I hope this helps.

(actually I don't trust that because there is an entire year of high school english that I do not remember very well... so maybe I got my other credit from the college's senior invitational tests I don't know)

I still remember one of the essays for some reason: "blah blah blah this is what a morally ambiguous character is blah blah blah In Great Expectations, was the character Pip morally ambiguous?"

He was so ambiguous. I kind of hope that in some fantasy world he is real and suffered over what a jerk he was.

Yeah. I took a couple years of AP English, but my teacher and I didn't get along. She gave me low grades on my papers because I didn't agree with her ideas. I know that sounds cliche, but she was very granola and I don't think I was passionate enough about the culture and history of native americans for her tastes. In fact, I think I went a little too far in the opposite direction. I wrote a paper about how I feel the indian tribes in our area abuse their rights by building enormous casinos and overfishing the rivers. She gave it a 2/9 and sometimes threw bitter looks at me in the halls.

I got a five on both tests and made it into the colleges I wanted to, anyway.

Also: Classes like that make me glad I am on route to an EE degree. :)

I took it back in high school, and it kicked my ass; I got a 4.

I think the English Lit tests is harder because it is not curved as much; Physics, Biology, and Chemistry in particular are very easy because a lot of people take them unprepared, and set the bar low.

In my 12th grade year of High School, I took the AP English class. It was supposed to last both semesters, and count as two English credits toward graduation. I only needed one of these credits. I took the class for the first semester, and bailed out to take something fun and easy for the rest of the year. The actual AP test was the last thing on my mind when it came time to take that at the end of the year, so I never actually took that.

Since then, I've gotten rather decent at English, and finished my English classes at college with virtually perfect grades.

That would be the AP Lit question. I had the same one, and did Yossarian from Catch-22

I recall thinking i did ok, and i think I got a 4 on my AP test.

I'm taking it next year, actually. Our assigned summer reading book is on String Theory. Go figure:shrug:

I would have enjoyed that. I had to read To Kill a Mockingbird the summer before I started the class.

I actually liked To Kill a Mockingbird a lot.

What really sucked, in my opinion, was the poetry section.

I took it back in 2000. I got a 3 on it. I did much better on the other AP tests I took though. I got a 4 for Physics, 4 for Calculus BC, and 5 for Computer Science AB.

All that matters is that you get a high enough score to get credit at whatever college you decide to go to. At most schools I think that is a 3, but some only take a 4 and above. I got 26 college credits from all my AP tests, which is almost a whole year worth! Definitely worth it.

I just don't understand because I did so well during the year and it's a hard class (at least the way our teacher made it). I expected to get better than a 3, but at least I got good grades on the other tests I took. A 4 on Spanish Language, 4 on Physics C: Mechanics, and a 5 on Calculus BC. I know I'm better at English then that test showed, I just find myself disagreeing with what most professors interpret.

I got a 3 in Spanish Language and a 5 on Music Theory, but OCU took neither result, so I kind of wasted the 86 bucks, outside of bragging rights.
