I know how to set which room you start in, but how do you edit where you are in the room? I'm always in the corner.

Press page down on the keybord, then click on the green icon, then click on
the spot you want to start at.

That's only if it's an Entrance/Exit warp, though. If it's a tile warp or somthing, use the blue square.
And please read a tutorial. It's very helpfull.

If it's the starting point for the game though, it's the green square

If all that is too confusing;
If its the start of a game- Green square
If its the start of a dugeon- Green Square
If its a side warp- Blue Square
I hope that helps.:)

lol!!! Is this an Abbot and Costello routine or what???
Anytime link needs to start or continue a game, use the green square.
Anytime link warps to another room/Dmap, use the blue one.
At the start of dungeons the blue/green squares will often overlap.

Quick question. Why when link enters a dungeon in my quest does he spawn walking downward?

What you need to do then is move that green square down more so it's flush against the bottom of the screen, in the doorway. That will solve that problem.
