Well, A Link To A Different Dimension (ALTADD) by Sludge would fit the bill well, and to be honest, I should really go back and play that again since I've been hungering for an old-style quest to play. The problem is, I'll be d--ned if I know where it can be found these days.

Failing that, Orion's Lightworld (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=quests&id=72) would be a direction to turn. But you might want to watch out for occasional glitches.

Orion did a first quest remake using only LttP tiles awhile ago too. That one is pretty close.

If I recall, the quest works fine with one specific version of ZC, but is buggy with several others. *shrug* It's been eon's since I've worked on it. But I tried to make it as close to a Zelda 1/3 hybrid as I could.
