I downloaded Zelda Classic and it works great, except that there is no music, but there is sound. Also I downloaded 2.10.

Is the volume for SW Synth (in Volume Control) set high enough, and does allegro.log detail any errors?

This happened to me too, in b254. My music stopped playing when I downloaded a MIDI for some reason. http://www.3dborg.com/forum/images/smiles/Argh___.gif

Well, I solved it. It turns out my SW Synth was set all the way down to no volume. Thanks for helping me guys!

I'm glad this thread is here, I've had to fix this twice now.

Anybody know what causes the SW Synth level to get pushed down to zero in the first place?

This happens to me to. Every time I turn on my computert gets pushed down to 0 for some reason, it only does this on windowsXP though, becouse it didnt do this on my old computer.:confused:

if you run anything that you set the volume to nothing in then that is most likely why it turns down.
