View Full Version : problems with the doors in the dungeons

Ok ive been making a quest and when I get to testing the first dungeon link just walks right over the door . can some one please tell me what to do about that and to fix it?? . :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused::confused::confused: Oh i'm using 2.10 if that helps

I apologize in advance if you're not as "noob" as your name implies.
First check your Dmap. make sure it's set to dungeon, and that level is greater than 0. Next make sure you didn't check the rule "use freeform" dungeons, and finally always use F6 to make doors, don't draw them by hand.

I used F6 to draw them and I didnt check freeform. what else can I do to fix it?:confused:

Does this help? I'm drawing a blank here. I've never had trouble with this.
Could you give more details on your Dmap setup?

oh silly me:googly: It works I forgot to change the level value from a0 to a 1

What if you wanted to have more than one door on a wall
or if you wanted to have your door not in the middle??:)

Then you have to use the 'freeform dungeons' quest rule, and not use the auto doors tool, placing the doors down as combos.
