But seriously, if you do replace it, I'd actually suggest something old. If not Zelda 1 art perhaps something from LTTP (or the newer art based on that style, used in GBA LTTP and the Oracles games- a nice mix of old and new). OoT Link is overdone/overused/very generic, and Zelda Classic is pretty Zelda 1-centric so it might be nice to tap into that once again; but if not, the new features make it rather LTTP-like too. Any way you slice it, ZC goes hand in hand with something more "retro". Which is a good thing if you ask a person like me XD

Those are all good ideas, Jennifer. And yes, Classic LoZ 1 art was once used quite extensively for ZC. It would look good, but I'm sure Alttp art or even Link's Awakening would work just as well. I'm not too sure about Twilight Princess though. Twilight Princess and Ocarina art might suggest the wrong idea for what this does.

A mixture (if it'll look good) Of art from all the 2-D games (except 4 Swords) as ZC can pretty much recreate them all (not perfectly, but close enough)

Well, I generally prefer the classic art, but in defense of Four Swords/Minish Cap style (in other words Wind Waker style) art, there's actually a tileset based on MC, isn't there?

But yeah, I think a combination of stuff from Zelda 1/II/LttP/LA/oracles/LttP remake would work well. Or even just the first four to give it more of a retro feel.

(also, just to make sure everyone understands, the CD-i banner was a joke on my part. Hopefully it wasn't counter to my real suggestions XD)
