What is zscripting?

What does zscripting do? I got 2.5 and i don't know what zscripting does.

Several things. The most common is to use it to make combos behave in special ways, i.e moving, interacting certain ways, etc. Also there are item scripts used for custom items. And I think enemy scripting is coming up. For tutorials and info check out the beta forums.
