Go on the sticky thread called 'Get Alphadawg's Tutorial Here' near the top of this forum, and follow it. It's very helpful if you're just starting

If you have issues with the download, you can also click the link in my signature to view the tutorial as well. Work through that first very carefully so you can learn all the basics.
