I want to make an enemy that shoots a line of fire like the gohma 4 or the fire gleeoks, but the gohma 4 projectile slot says Fireball, and the slot for the fire gleeoks says Empty. Can someone tell me how to get a custom enemy to shoot fire?

Are you in like, the latest beta?(I'm thinking from like 254 on.) If so, set weapon to fireball and misc. attribute 1 to 7. I think that might do it. For more info, check out http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showthread.php?t=97010

Floating Enemy
misc1: Attack Type. 0 = normal, 1 = fire only when resting, 2 = rapid fire, 3 = fires three weapons, 4 = fires four weapons, 5 = fires five weapons, 7 = stream of weapons (Fire Gleeok), 8 = fires eight weapons, 9 = summon enemies, 10 = summon layer enemies
misc3: ID of enemy to split into and/or summon.
misc4: number of enemies to split into and/or summon.
misc5: If misc2 = 4, how long until enemy splits.
misc9: Movement Pattern. 1 = Peahat (invulnerable in flight), 2 = phantom Ghini (same as Keese, but doesn't cast shadows and "fades in" when created)_L_

Uh, those attributes aren't usable in the current build. (Try these (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showthread.php?t=96008) in the meantime.) So, right now you can't make a fire-spitting enemy.

Oh, the ones I mentioned haven't been implemented yet? Ah well.

Hence the 'Not usable yet' in the thread title. But seriously _L_ when are we
gonna have the new enemy editor up and running? your driving people crazy
here.

Re: Enemy Editor Discussion and Questions

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't forget that the "new" enemy editor that I'm still working on isn't going to be backwards-compatable with custom enemies made prior to it. Unfortunately, this is the price of progress! (More specifically, the price of custom death animations, multiple projectile-firing options and other such stuff.)

I was forced to reverse that decision later in the same topic, you know.

What?! Thats great news! I must have somehow missed that one. So I can continue working on my quest after all.:) :P

So we're not gonna have custom death or multiple projectiles?
